As many know November 13th was the start of the early signing day period this fall. And boy was it a day. For junior college athletes it generally is not as much of a surprise where they are going to sign when they have their options. They do not usually have the hats sitting in front of them like many people think when it comes to a person signing day.
From what we here at the JBB have collected it was over 200 different individuals commit/sign so far during this period. So we decided to break out or ranking caps for the first time to kick off the official 2020/2021 Calendar. Yes, we did have a Recruiting Class Ranking a few weeks back but this is for the guys that will not make it to campus till the fall of 2021.
As usual there are many of your normal universities that have already started to pick the Junior College ranks to fill their rosters for the next coming years. Below we rank the top 25 Classes as well as some Honorable Mentions.Read more
Every year things happen when it comes to recruits. Some get drafted. Some decide last minute that the school they picked is not for them anymore. Then others honor their commitment and end up on campus.
Well this past year as many of you know this is no normal year whatsoever. A lot of “Normal” recruiting tactics, Commitments, and much more changed where guys ended up going.
We here at the JBB did an end of the year 4-Year Recruiting Class update and thought that would be it. Well a lot changed. From schools getting guys back that they did not think they would have. To People going back to their Junior College, to Guys switching completely because they were given that choice.
For the past few weeks we have been talking to different schools all over the country checking, Double Checking, and Triple Checking if what we had stayed the same or if guys moved.
There were some surprises for sure when we saw where guys ended up going. There were also some that we missed before as a whole. (Hey we’re just two guys with an unhealthy obsession with Junior College baseball we miss things sometimes). After going through them all this is the list we came to….
