In Coach Kotilas last year Century tried to send him off on top but just fell short once they made it to Tennessee. They swept their way to the regional championship game where they faced off against St. Cloud Tech. That was not without a bit of a weather issue. The Championship game was postponed 2 days due to the weather. Century lost the first game 5-4 which forced the Winner Take All game. They happened to win 4-3 in 12 innings.
Once in Tennessee, the Ducks lost their opening game to the eventual Champs Cumberlands. They then proceded to fight through the loser's bracket but eventually lost to Brookhaven. They finished 4th at the Tournament.

Minnesota is one of those regions that more often then not gets overlooked when it comes to talent or teams. But this year's group looks to be as good as ever. After losing in the opening round of the Tournament last year Herkimer Rallied back through the losers bracket. Beating Niagara by 1 in 10 innings. Then they got revenge on Erie who beat them in the opening round. Then they beat Finger Lakes in two games outscoring them 23-5 and punching their second consecutive ticket to the National Tournament.

This year's group is lead by Herkimer taking home both Pre-Season Player and Pitcher. Dale Stanavich (Rutgers) brings home the Pre-Season Pitcher of the year along with being the #1 ranked Division 3 player in the country, A Pre-Season All-American, and National Pre-Season PItcher of the Year Honors. On the other side of the ball, Joe Novenche brings home the Pre-Season Player of the Year Honor. For the first time since the 2011 season, the Representative from this District was not Tyler. After almost a Decade of Dominance, they had been dethroned. Brookhaven Claimed the Title and ended up finishing 3rd when all was said and done.
This district also plays one of the toughest schedules across the board compared to most other Division 3 schools. That is due to the fact that they play half of their schedules against some of the Top Div 1 schools in the country in San Jac, McLennan, and Grayson to name a few when they play any out of conference games.
