When people think of junior college baseball there are generally 3 states/areas people will say if they do not know much about it. Texas anywhere, Arizona, and then Florida. And they are not wrong in that simple thought. Florida year in and year out has some of the top Teams, Players, and Prospects in the country.
In the past 10 years, the winner of this district has played in a National Title game 5 times (Chipola 2018, 2019), Northwest Florida State (2015), Miami Dade (2014), and Palm Beach State (2013). And took home 3 National Titles (Chipola 2018, 2019 and Northwest Florida State (2015).
On the Tallent Side of this District we could sit here for days and talk about each team in length but here is some of the top names out in florida this year:
Florida Southwestern States- Luis Tuero and Carter Cunningham
Chipolas- Bo Bonds, Cam Gray, and Andrew Baker
Santa Fes-Luis Rodriguez and Johnathan Logsdon
St. Petersburg's-Chris Williams
State College of Florida's-Cole Ayers, Tucker Mitchell, and Rook Ellington
Northwest Florida's-Dylan DeLucia, Nasir Fredrick, and Tyler Kehoe
Gulf Coasts-Justin Kelley, and Dallen Leach
St. Johns Rives- Dawson Gause
Central Florida's-Nick Calero, Mason Ronan, and Logan Adams
