For the first time in school History, Pearl Rivers has brought home the National Title. They broke out the All Gold for the championship Saturday and it did the trick.
Pearl took the #1 spot on our rankings back in week 8 and never looked back. For once the “Noah Curse” of picking going through the bracket and picking a winner paid off and did not curse anyone. Both the Computer and I picked Pearl River, so we did a good job.
The World Series came down to a winner take all game after Madison took game one of the best of 3 series in a dominant fashion winning 11-4. That was answered in game 2 with a 19-1 win by Pearl. Which then ended with them winning a 7-2 to take home the crown.
