Columbia State – 6-1
In the state of Tennessee Columbia State is one of the schools that does not come to the top of a lot of people’s minds. But so far this season they have shown they are going to a team to be reconded with. This past week they were 6-1, with a 3-0 sweep of former #1 Dyersburg State if you go back to Sunday the week before. The one loss came to Volunteer state. This past week they hit .246 as a team with 11 Doubles, 5 triples, and 4 Home runs. They scored 55 runs across those 7 games while stealing 22 bases along the way.
Bismark State – 8-1
As we mentioned in this week’s national ranking Bismarck state had a HUGE Week. across the 9 games, they played they tallied 114 runs through 16 Doubles, 11 Triples, and 7 Home Runs. As a team, they hit .455 Stole 38 Bases. And had a Team OPS of 1.226. One thing that we knew going into the season was that they were going to be able to hit and they did just that. The one blemish on the week came from the Arizona school Cochise who always likes to play chaos creator when it comes to the schools in Arizona.
