What isnt there to say about the West? Arizona is a dog fight till the end. Region 18 always has Southern Nevada and Southern Idaho who battle it out with Salt Lake wanting some of the fun. Then there is Region 9 who always seems to be the “Little Brother” who gets picked on.
This year seems somewhat of the same but then also some different. Arizona has the powers. Central has a ton of arms, Pima is athletic throughout , South Mountain and Arizona Western are going to come out swinging and Yavapai is going to have a ton of bats. The district is LOADED!!!
For Region 18, Southern Nevada has been the top dog for a long time. Salt Lake looks to take that crown finally as they have a solid group from top to bottom. Southern Idaho also looks to be just as equally as impressive.
Region 9 looks to be on the come up this year. They have a Returing 1st Team All-American in Daniel Bannon out of McCook. Theyre seems to be a mix of tallent in that part of the district which is going to make for an intersting year.
