So this District was one that over the last few years has seen a few new teams join it that were not teams before, in the likes UA Rich Mountain, South Arkansas, and National Park. all of who have had some success in their first years as programs.
UA Rich Mountain Shocked many last years as they were just one game away from making the trip to Enid in just the school’s first year. They fell just short of the team that ended up finishing as the National Runner up in what was one of the most impressive National Championship games that we have ever seen in Western Oklahoma State.
This year’s crew of teams is going to be just as impressive, UA Rich Mountain returns a solid group from the prior year, Western Oklahoma is going to have talent as they always do. Both Enid and Tonkawa are going to be their normal selves, with Murray State and Carl Albert looking to get back to what they have been in the past.
