Region 19 is a powerhouse. In Division 3 Junior College baseball they get what we think should be something that should be added at all levels of juco baseball but that is the at large bid. And region 19 has had multiple of them over the last few years with one even being a National Title winner in 2019 when Cumberland County got the at-large bid and played Rowan Gloucester for the national title.
With that all being said it is expected to be another huge dog fight for whoever is going to be the top dog in Region 19. Both Cumberland and Gloucester are going to be their usual selves. Bergen looks to bounce back after a very unfortunate 2021 season. Atlantic Cape, Brookdale, Northampton, and Camden County all look to be strong contenders as usual.
All in all this year is going to be like almost every other, this is going to be a dog fight to the end and it would be not be a surprise to anyone if two of these teams ended up in the World Series at the end of the season.
