Any time a school can bring back an All-American it is a good thing, especially at the Junior College level. This District has not just 1 or 2 but eight different guys who were 2021 All-Americans. With 2nd-Team Honors coming from Joey Fitzgerald (Harper), Kyle Moore (Oakton), Peter Fusek (Milwaukee Area Tech), and Tony Fleischauer (Joliet); 3rd-Team Honors coming from Mike Sullivan (DuPage), Noah Mazza (Joliet), and Zak Fischer (DuPage); and Honorable Mention Honors from Hruz Wagner (Milwaukee Area Tech).
This district is going to be a dog fight from the start. With high-end talent all over the District, it would not be surprising to see 2 teams make it to the world series again with the at-large bid coming from this district.
