Last 5 Winners: 2021 - Lincoln Land, 2020 - Covid, 2019 - Lincoln Land, 2018 - Parkland (National Runner Up), 2017 - Parkland, 2017 - Parkland

The Represetiavt from this District has been between two powers since 2014 with Parkland winning 3 of those titles (2016, 2017, and 2018) while the others have been by Lincoln Land (2021, 2019, 2015, and 2014). That though does not mean that the talent in this region has been slacking.

This year’s group of teams is going to keep things interesting. Heartland seems to have a high powered offense, Illinois Central looks to have a very athletic team from top to bottom, Lincoln Land is returning a lot of the major contributors of the World Series team last year, Parkland looks to have a solid combo of Pitchers and Bats, and John Wood looks to be young but a team that you should not sleep on.

This District is always one that is fun to watch. They get lumped in with the Division 1 powers and the Division 3 powers that are in the area but that makes for a very fun mid-week schedule for almost every team in the region.
