Owens is a team that when you look at them on paper nothing really yells “STUD”. They all contribute to get the job done and so far they have done it well. Coach Parisho said “This is a fun team to watch, you never know which guy is going to have a day and step up”
One Big thing for the History Books is that Owens brought back their program in 2019 so technically this is only the “2nd” Season sense bringing the program back and well. Look where they are.

When you can not get on campus and practice as a team until February that is going to cause problems. When your team consists of guys from Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, Colorado, Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico to go along with that, that does not help your team.
But what St. Cloud Tech, Coach Fischer and his guys have done through the adversity that many have had to deal with this season is pretty awesome to watch. Guys showed up when they needed to. When parts of the team were slacking others picked it up.
On top of that when you have a solid core group of guys coming back after last year with opportunities on the table to go play at higher levels you know you have a winning culture on your side.

Do not and I repeat do not let Coast Bend go under your radar. Do not let that record fool you. They are a Division 3 team that plays in the toughest half of one of the Toughest Regions in all of Junior College Baseball. That’s a bold claim but it is true.
They took wins from San Jac, Blinn, Alvin, Wharton, and Galveston who all at one point this season were ranked in the National Rankings.
To also be noted they are getting back some big time arms and bats that have missed big chunks of the season.

Tyler, much like Coastal Bend, plays their entire season against Division 1 Teams. All have Scholarship players which means they are playing tougher competition.
One huge thing for Tyler getting the At-Large bid which should scare some people is that they are getting one of the biggest contributors/glue guys back who has missed the last month and a half in Heath Hood.
