Teams of The Week

Here is a look at the teams that made the biggest moves or had huge weeks as a team for each division

Howard 5-1

For anyone that knows Howard is one of the key reasons that this whole JBB thing got started in the first plays. Sometimes are we a bit harder on them then others? Maybe. But what they have got going this season has been pretty awesome to watch.

This past week they jumped back into our National Ranking for the first time in a long time. Due to a 5-1 week in which their only loss was to then #5 San Jac

San Jac 17-5

Howard jumped out early and never looked back. With 1 in the 2nd, 5 in the 3rd, and then 2 in the 5th, 3 in the 6th, and 6 in the 7th to close out the game. Weston Peninger had a big game going 3-5 with 2 Homers, 5 RBI, and Scoring 3 runs himself.

San Jac 3-11

Despite jumping out early, San Jac had two big innings in the 3rd and in the 8th which pushed the score to what it was.

New Mexico Military 5-4

This was a big series for both teams. NMMI slowly rising up the National Rankings sitting in the Next 5 Out for the last couple of weeks, and Howard looking to make it back to the National Stage in a big way. In Game 1, NMMI jumped out early and Howard came from behind and walked it off in the bottom of the 7th. Kristoper Anglin and Hunter Rosenbaum combined for 17 K’s on the day.

New Mexico Military 17-1

The bats came alive in Game 2, putting up crooked numbers in every inning. Hunter Simmon and Kebler Peralta both had big days. Simmons went 2-4, 3B, 4 RBI, and 2 R. While Peralta went 2-4, HR, 4 RBI, and 1 R

New Mexico Military 17-7

Another quick 5 inning game where Howard put up Crooked numbers in every inning. Calogero Paxia had a Huge day going 3-4 with 2 Hr, 4 RBI, a 3 R

New Mexico Military 13-5
